Privacy policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Founder Typology™ collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who we are

Founder Typology™ (foundertypology.com) is owned and run by Mais Jauhary in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Mais Jauhary as the owner of Founder Typology. For anything about your data, use the contact form at foundertypology.com/contact.

We handle personal information in line with Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018). If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights in section 8.

2. What we collect

  • When you start the assessment: your first name, your email address, the language you chose, and your agreement to this policy and our terms, with its date and time.
  • Your answers and results: your answers to the assessment and the results we work out from them, including your founder type.
  • If you join through a programme: the programme or access code you used, so your results can be grouped with your cohort.
  • If you request a programme session: your name, organisation, work email, programme type, cohort size, preferred timing and any message you add.
  • If you buy a full report: your purchase details. Our payment provider handles the payment, and we never see or store your card details.
  • If you send feedback: what you write in our feedback form.
  • If you contact us: your name, email, the topic you choose and your message.
  • Technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers record basic data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.

We don't ask for sensitive information such as health or religion. Please don't include it in any message you send us.

3. How we use it

  • To work out your founder type and prepare your results and reports.
  • To email you your results and anything else you asked for.
  • To reply to your messages and programme requests, and to run programme sessions.
  • To give programme organisers their cohort's results (section 5).
  • To improve and validate the Founder Typology method, using anonymised answers only, with your name and email removed.
  • To keep the site secure, fix problems and prevent misuse.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We rely on your consent, on providing the service you asked for, on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving the method, and on legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We won't add you to a marketing mailing list unless you agree to it.

4. How we use AI

Parts of your report are written with help from an AI service. To do this, we send it your results and the details needed to personalise your report. Under its terms for business customers, our AI provider does not use this information to train its models.

5. Who we share it with

We share your information only with the following.

Service providers that run Founder Typology for us, only for that purpose:

  • hosting and database providers, which run the site and store your information
  • email delivery providers, which send our emails
  • AI providers, which help write report text
  • document providers, which turn reports into PDF files
  • payment providers, which take payment if you buy a report
  • form providers, which run our feedback form if you choose to fill it in

Programme organisers. If you take the assessment through an accelerator, university, employer or other programme, the organiser receives your name, email and results for that programme. Their own privacy policy covers what they do with them.

WeGro Business, our delivery partner for corporate sessions, may receive the results it needs to run a session you take part in.

Others, only when needed: when the law requires it, to protect our rights or other people's safety, or if Founder Typology passes to a new owner, who would then follow this policy.

6. Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store and process your information outside Bahrain, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose providers that protect personal information with industry-standard security.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information until you ask us to delete it. Anonymised information, with your name and email removed, may be kept to improve and validate the method, because it can no longer be linked to you.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your information
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • stop using it, or withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn't affect what we did before you withdrew it)
  • explain how we use it

Send us a message through the contact form at foundertypology.com/contact, choosing "My data", and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Authority, or to the data protection authority where you live.

9. Children and young people

Founder Typology is open to all ages. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before taking the assessment or buying a report. A parent or guardian can ask us to delete their child's information at any time.

10. Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work, such as keeping your place in the assessment. We don't use advertising cookies.

11. Security

We use encrypted connections, limit who can access personal information, and keep your data and our scoring on protected servers. No system is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will show a notice on the site or email you.
